Prosecution team in Zimmerman trial

Do you think the prosecution sand bagged (purposely) blew the trial in the Zimmerman case!
Remember there is LOT of gun nut money in that state...the Judge and Prosecutors all have to live there and make a living. Also the Zimmerman's and the Cop's noses in that cracker Florida town are up each others asses all the time!

Look how pissed the prosecutor is acting right now even while saying that he respects the jury decision. Not John Guy - the other guy.

with witnesses that get paid high dollars to lie for them. They are bullies that win at any cost lies and all just to win.

Absolutely incredibly horrible. There is no logical excuse for that. There's no logical reason for it unless he did it on purpose. Were he fresh off the bar I could excuse it but certainly not with his long and impressive record. I think the other two did the best they could, but since Bernie did most of the trial, and they had little to no opportunity to clean up his epic mistakes the prosecution as a whole was shit.

5. I think the folks at the crime scene and afterwards were the ones who were incompetent.

I think valuable evidence was lost do to carelessness and even negligence. It was the early part of the "investigation" when all the good old boys were treating this like a typical young-black-criminal-gets-what-he-deserves event, that huge errors occurred.

But even with all the possible evidence that was lost, I am not sure it would have mattered.

The Defense did a powerpoint presentation, had visuals, props, animation. . . What did the prosecution do except yell? The prosecution did not break down the case and make a case for the jury like they were supposed to. The jury has to make a decision based on the legal case that was presented to them. They are not supposed to listen to their heart if there is no legal justification or proof. The prosecution made no case, and I think they were conscious of that.

6. No, I think they received a hard-to-win case that didn't have any forensic evidence

collected initially and that made their job harder. They also had to contend with a he said situation. I think there was a specific timeframe that couldn't be accounted for and that left reasonable doubt in the juries mind.

I think Zimmerman stalked and murdered Martin but I think it was very difficult to actually prove.

7. Best you could claim is they overcharged on purpose.

No legal expert I'm aware of ever thought there was evidence for a murder conviction. It's simply too steep a hill to climb when one person's dead and the only real narrative comes from the killer.

I could maybe go for the idea that they underplayed manslaughter, knowing Second Degree was a hopeless charge.

But overall, the prosecutors seemed to be doing good work here. The defense was obnoxious and contentious. I thought they might lose just be annoying the judge as much as they did.

were it not for the way the police acted the night of the shooting. Now I can't help but think yes. Do just bad enough a job to lose, without making it too obvious.

plus you know cops and prosecutors are friends and are always covering for each other. The law is crooked as hell. I would never trust a cop, probation officer, any law enforcement official or judge.
