Theocracy...
can it happen here? First off, I am very concerned after all the attacks on reproductive rights this past year.
I used to think that couldn't happen, because the elite are just a bunch of hypocrites who throw red meat
to evangelicals at election time. Now, full-blown theocracy still seems very unlikely because it would be bad
for business(booze, porn, etc). Would the corporati stand for bans or even strict regulations of those things?
So, what is going on here?
1. Attacks on reproductive rights will continue but are not means to greater ends.
2. This will be a theocracy that focuses solely on controlling women and not vices.
3. The corporati are now irrational enough to let the theocrats run hog wild.
4. The corporati are willing to sacrifice revenue from beer and porn in order
to rule with an iron fist via theocracy in light of overpopulation, climate change, etc,
to make social control in light of coming disruptions much easier than it would otherwise be.
5. What am I missing?
