Despite the fact there were no officers on site doing these inspections that knew of any such jars. Or had heard of the reports of suspicious materials in jars over the radio. Or even the evidence of the normal knee jerk, panic attack response of shutting down the entire building which is the norm when questionable substances are found post 9/11.

Apparently the DPS is not aware of the physics of a tampon or sanitary pad which for the most part are light in weight with a high surface area relative to their weight making them terrible projectiles.

Did anyone see any news reports or see someone being inspected being in possession of jars at all never the less jars of fecal matter? .....

Good thing we've still got politics in Texas - finest form of free entertainment ever invented.

Dear Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst, Public Safety Director Steve McCraw, Texas Highway Patrol Assistant Director Luiz Gonzalez and all members of the Texas state legislature:

It is unconscionable that Texas citizens who merely seek to watch their legislature in action would be forced to surrender their tampons, maxipads or diabetic medicine to state troopers.

We demand a complete and open investigation as to who authorized this move, who is accountable for such conduct—and that all such parties be appropriately disciplined.
