"We both reached for the gun."

I was watching a clip, and this seemed particularly appropriate right now, with the Zimmerman jury in deliberations, and with the statement by the defense that TM had reached for the gun, so GZ did, too.

For those who don't know, this is from the movie Chicago. Gere is attorney for Zellweger, and he's feeding the meme to the media, who are the puppets in this number.

I believe this IS the way it happens, at least sometimes.

I've always felt that Zimmerman, after the killing, was writing his own movie script and pulling scenes from crime dramas he had seen.

it would be physically impossible for either of them to reach for the gun.

Every number in that movie is perfect, so I can't pick a favorite.

And I definitely think When You're Good to Mama was a close second. This one though was the one I kept replaying and singing along with. I loved all the numbers though especially the dancing. Probably one of my favorite movies, and I didn't think I'd like it.
