I read an article from a reputable source (cant remember which) during the 2012 Election that if ALL of the eligible voters would register and vote Texas would be a solid blue state.

will run for the GOP primary slot. Probably the current Lt Gov will run, too. Maybe Wendy Davis will run for the Dem nomination.
