In 2006, Biden said: "Count me out of trusting a president who spies on Americans."

Do you suppose he still feels the same way?

1. If only a journalist would ask the vice president that question.

Where is Vice President Biden, any way? I haven't heard anything from him lately.

16. I just got a letter from Joe today.

Really. I should probably open it and see what (how much) he wants.

2. Yes, he just doesn't think

Hong Kong Eddie and his handlers are credible, probably because he knows what "spying" is actually being done.

15. He's not credible but grave damage has been done to national security.

And we're asking countries to send him back to the US. But he's not credible.

18. This has been said, over and over, not only by me but by some other DUers...

The ones who wish to trash Snowden have to pick one side or the other. If he's a liar and not credible then why is Obama so hot to get his hands on him??

Those smearing Snowden are being DELIBERATELY obtuse. It's laughable, actually.

I'm sure Joe remembers J. Edgar Hoover.

6. I wish I could recommend this a billion times.

This demonstrates the hypocrisy of our administration in allowing this program to proceed.

This surveillance is about control, not about finding terrorists or criminals. The terrorists and criminals are just the frosting on the cake.

I'm sure he also can't support a President who allows torture.

17. Can we please hear the story once again about how he used to ride on the train?

I miss that.

And the feeling that, instead of protecting the bankers and the super-rich, he's really a middle-class Americans who is looking out for other middle-class Americans.

Of course, it would be so much easier if he hadn't benefit the bankers by pushing for a bankruptcy bill to prevent out-of-work college graduates and their parents from discharging student-loan debts in bankruptcy.

It might also help if he hadn't supported the Iraq War Resolution.
