I'm waiting for travel restrictions on pregnant women

You know it's coming to a red state near you: first, pregnant women will not be allowed to seek abortion services across state lines; next, pregnant women will not be allowed to cross into a state that allows abortion services if there is a "reasonable chance" women will use those services; and finally, pregnant women will not be allowed to enter states that allow abortion services.

I wonder if the far right, who claims to love freedom, realizes how close what they are doing is to Ceaucescu's Decree 770.

then if a fetus dies due to neglect by a corporation, can they be charged for murder?

Does an insurance company have to pay full benefits if a woman miscarries?

What happens to the fetus' "special rights" that will essentially go away between its first breath outside the womb and the moment he/she turns 18?

wouldn't be making phone callsor sending emails. I would go visit my relative in another state and then have the procedure done. I wouldn't tell anyone what you are doing. Not even family or friends because they can always snitch. Coming to america Nazi snitchers.

In Utah, where Mormons live [and the NSA is building a facility to control ALL LEAVES, WHISPEERS, VIPERS, ADDVANCE and FREAKSS, if we don't quickly unite] they might need to make multiple immigration, while pregnant, laws to govern each wife, unless their customs have changed.

to those that dare no believe as they do. Sad that some that shout out their purity and insult more rational minds can't see the hell their purity is leading to. There is hope, many Independents see the hell coming and are turned off by republican tactics. Those Independents should be part of the salvation and return to sanity, starting with the 2014 midterms.

5. I suspect there will eventually be legislation

covering some of these options women may want to exercise.

First they'll make home pregnancy tests illegal so you can't know for sure that you're pregnant without going to the dr where your pregnancy will be registered to be followed. Better develop great acting skills to cover your pain for being in a crisis pregnancy, or they'll get suspicious about your intentions.

7. I should think restrictions on abortion would also be unconstitutional

In fact, the Supreme Court once said that, up until the point where it could survive outside the womb (aka "fetal viability&quot , they were.

However, "the sanctity of life" apparently takes precedence over everything when that "life" will fit on the head of a thumbtack.

The fundies sometimes ask me, when do I think life begins. And I tell them, in the United States it begins when you can take a tax deduction on it. Pisses them off every time.

and have checkpoints that everyone will have to stop at when driving to a neighboring state?

Ridiculous.

Someone upthread pointed out pregnancy test kits could be banned. That's not likely but there's a possibility you'd have to show ID for one. Any good totalitarian state would be able to link an ID to the debit card used to pay for the test. If the same debit card were then used within the next month in a state that bans abortion, or a bus, plane or train ticket to one of those states was purchased...the next few nights will not be pleasant for you.

And do you really think The State would allow unmarried men to buy these kits?

when women don't show, and bad as things are, a state will not be able to pregnancy test women of child bearing years who wish to travel on planes.

I can't see how a state could pull it off though unless a person was charged prior to leaving and held.

Then you are getting into this kind of territory:

It's a sad commentary on society that so many women are just
sitting back and letting the GOP and the crazed fundies wage
this war.
