A BROAD TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE IS PRODUCING DISORGANIZED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE EASTERN GULF OF MEXICO SOUTHWARD INTO THE
NORTHWESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS COULD BECOME
MARGINALLY CONDUCIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS
WHILE THE DISTURBANCE MOVES GENERALLY WESTWARD TOWARD THE WESTERN
GULF OF MEXICO. THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW CHANCE...NEAR 10 PERCENT...
OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.

(12,232 posts)7. I'd send you some rain, but nothing but sun here right now
We've been sweltering the last week and finally our marine breeze is returning. Well, it wasn't that hot compared to elsewhere, but damn hot for us, especially since most don't have air conditioning.
Splash in a couple of puddles for me, ok?

Is a mistake?

(268,844 posts)3. No - this looks more like a problem for Louisiana, Texas and Mexico

I have no idea why this was posted, other than to say that its going to rain off Hatteras tonight and tomorrow.
Edited because in my old age I apparently can't tell east from west anymore.

(55,144 posts)6. We are up to 7 inches of rain with more on the way today.
They are saying the 4th will be sunny for us. At least now I don't have to go to the beach, I'll just use the new pond in my backyard.
