(56,582 posts)and has been for about 20 years now. But then again Andrew Sullivan has kind of been kicked out of the conservative circle for years now.
For hate-reading? I'll probably tour Freeperville and the Weekly Standard.
The conservatives I actually find worth reading will probably be OK with this; Sullivan I mentioned, Millman will be sad but will write well about it, and Carney will be overjoyed that this won't be as much of a wedge issue in the future.

(743 posts)I read these awesomely unhinged diatribes, and the next day somehow the sun still comes up... I keep thinking they will, y'know, notice that. But they don't.

(187 posts)His exact quote:
Lord, please take me quickly and do not prolong my suffering for the sins of my countrymen.
I have to admit, my first thought was "Well, I hope you get your wish".

(10,260 posts)the funniest post is one, wherein, the poster puts forth the idea that Chief Justice Roberts is secertly gay, and the NSA found about it, and used it to get him to vote the way "they" (presumably, the pervasive Liberals who control EVERYTHING) want him to, in order to further Gay aganda...
or something to that effect. Mostly, they're just pissed that we run a Secular Government, even if they don't know that's what they're saying lol.
Oh, and a bunch of stuff about how now polygamy can be legal as well, and that's bad, too...
Mostly, I think they are pissed that now even MORE people can go about having the kind of lives they really want to have, while THEY have to stay sexually, and therefore, emotionally, repressed.

(187 posts)essentially, "Oh dear Lord, please let it be".

(10,260 posts)and like the Dear Lord said, "they have NO IDEA what they do..."
and just to prove how bad it would be for them, here's a link to the Federal Navy's newest (almost) toy...

(3,891 posts)First, I don't go surf the RW sites much if ever. Second, I don't care how they feel about it, because I do what I think is right, not what they think is wrong. Third, I have better things to do today that read the ranting of some moron who doesn't understand the issue. Fourth, I haven't been following the case all that closely because it was a forgone conclusion. You can not have separate but equal anything. Because it is always separate and unequal in practice. The equal Protection clause was a no brainer on this one. Sure four voted against it, but five would have voted for it, and if one of the five had changed his/her mind, one of the other four would have written a concurrent decision, and gone the right way anyhow.
BTW I called this under equal protection about ten minutes after the first news article about Gay Marriage was published. I can get my wife to back me up if you like.

(5,624 posts)am certain HaNutty will also be whining about it, probably with Coultergheist or some other guest.
Listening to those cheese dicks the week after the election was a hoot. Lots of pointing fingers at each other and hand-wringing. I suspect this will be similar. It will all be the RINO's fault for dropping the ball somehow. They won't give Dems/Progressives credit for the victory.

(24,560 posts)Not much vitriol. I expected there to be a lot of it. They seemed to be fairly civilized. They seem to be disappointed, but not outraged. One poster was relieved that same sex marriage was not mandated in all 50 states. One poster was concerned about how the Prop 8 decision would effect a Colorado taxpayer ballot initiative.
Disclaimer: I only skimmed and peeked. Also Erick Erickson, their main guy, referenced in the OP, hasn't written a blog entry regarding today's SC decision.
