What would happen . . .

If we the people went on a privacy strike? Refused to use our cellphones, refused to use "loyalty cards" at stores (my sister and I won't give out our email addresses or phone numbers, much to the annoyance of store clerks ), abandoned FaceBook, and otherwise rebelled -- if only for a short time -- against our personal information being bought and sold like merchandise, and being spied on. We old people remember a time not really so long ago when we got along just fine without any of these things.
