.. if he wins the election, those prayers were more powerful than my juju. If he loses, those prayers were to a false god.

10. This what they believe in so why should we worry about it? I dislike the GOP immensely but
we need not ridicule someone else's beliefs. He could be an atheist for all I care. I am appalled by what these people do in public office and will fight them with bucks, sweat and tears. But if they want to pray, lay hands on, or spit on a person as part of their religious belief it doesn't bother me. If such belief and behavior is as useless and pointless as many here believe than it won't matter, will it. If what they believe has the force of an omnipotent God behind it, then we can't stop it, can we?

12. Why worry about it?
Because they're freaks and they want to impose their freakish beliefs on the rest of America.

17. Why should we worry about what they believe? Hmmm, gee, I don't know.
Except maybe, ah, "states should be allowed to ban birth control", "evolution is a myth", "teach the controversy", "put prayer back in schools", "death penalty for abortion providers" and "The Earth is only 5,000 years old"
why would anyone worry about those beliefs, huh?... yeah, what the guy believes should be off limits. What if he believed Aliens were talking to him through his Bran Flakes, telling him to back the national currency with dryer lint? What if he believed magic gnomes were living in his underwear? Would it be "off limits" to ridicule his special special special special oh so special beliefs then? The guy believes a load of idiotic gibberish, and it DIRECTLY informs not just his political agenda but also who comprises his voter base. Fucking A we "need" to ridicule it. |

16. Not unlike what the Taliban want to do in Afghanistan,
the Rick Santorum nut-case would convert our current legal system into one that requires our laws to be in agreement with religious law.
He's a very scary candidate who will destroy our democratic republic. Don't underestimate the stupidity of working class republicans, they'll vote for this idiot! |
