(35,392 posts)"conservatives" are following an Atheist, while pushing a pledge written by a Socialist (just for good measure) ...

(604 posts)Rand is no atheist and neither is Ronnie. They don't shout it from the roof tops tho, like wingnut bigoted frothy.
They also talk about personal responsibility. Unlike Ayn Rand.
Did u know that Greenspan was a follower of Ayn Rand - back around 1960?
U should know your rivals if u want to outdo them.
Ron Paul could be a very useful spoiler and a real pain to the GOP.
Mittens has all the advantages and will be the nominee. But O would like there to be a real bitter battle in GOP ranks. There already is. Only winner so far from GOP elections is O. But no harm in winning by some more. Quite the reverse.

(35,392 posts)Numerous times in the Wikipedia reference is it noted that A.R. is an Atheist. (edited to add: Sorry, "was" ... not "is".)

Those "Ayn Rand Conservatives" are following an atheist.

(25,183 posts)You really have to see it, it's such a hoot for Middle Eastern figures to be depicted as Nordic-Arayans.

(17,656 posts)In some pictures of him, he's got blue eyes and his hair is even blonder.
Like he is a skier from Sweden or something.

(25,183 posts)But they do it especially well. I lived in Utah for six months back in 2005, and I was flabbergasted at all of the images I saw. At least by the 1960's, the depictions I saw in Catholic Press books of the time tried to make him a little more Malibu Jesus, rather than a pasty white guy.

(25,183 posts)I'm talking about this guy:
Nice orthodontia, huh?
And when I was on the search for him, I came across a website that absolutely confirms that the JC pic in the OP is from the Mormon artist, Del Parson:

(3,927 posts)The first Ayn Rand on "Maternity, Family & Abortion" It's 3:20 in length.
The second is Ayn Rand just on abortion...."Why I support abortion....." It's only 53 seconds long. This is the antithesis of what most right-wingers claim they believe.

(3,425 posts)and I guess I just assumed because she's Ayn Rand that she NEVER changed her mind, b/c that would be like admitting she was wrong, unthinkable for AR.
