Am watching crazy Rick's speech at CPAC and he has his family on the stage with him. His wife looks so unhappy, probably because having all those kids has been very hard on her. He does not know about her pain, just his opinion about child-bearing. It can't be difficult, so she never has his sympathy.

He's crazy.

1. There are lots of reasons to be unhappy

besides having lots of kids. Maybe she actually loves having lots of kids. My mom does (8 kids).

That said, I agree that RS is crazy.

but Rick is not the kind of guy to help her with the children. He is so sure she is duty-bound to do it alone that any complaints from her about how difficult it is are met with indifference.

Her face shows how domineering that creep is and I'll bet she'd rather be home with the daughter who is ill....

who wasn't supposed to live to the age of two, and is still in very bad shape and probably always will be for all of her short life.

You think maybe she has a right to be sad?

Barbara Bush supposedly went gray overnight when her daughter died as a young girl back when Babs was in her 30's. Something like that will never leave you.

But I doubt if Rick has any for her. He's driven by something other than love for his family, pure ambition.

I thought her eyes showed she was "alone" emotionally and doubt that she wanted to be there. Maybe she'd rather be home holding that toddler than trying to make that sociopath look good.
