His last masterpiece was Obama standing on the constitution while all the framers look on shocked and dismayed. (I dare say the framers would indeed be shocked to see a black president.)

But then, why only one? Anyway, it's impossible to figure out the motives of a crazy person.

I do think he missed an opportunity to put Reagan and W back there with their Saudi buddy, after all, they were the primary reasons we have a big debt.

the rooster is in that lower right-hand corner with the "good" people.

Maybe it's a fertility symbol.

Maybe it's the ghost of Colonel Sanders.

ETA: I hope everyone noticed that the "bad" people are on the left side of the painting, clamoring for handouts. Yikes.

to the slaves of America. The cock is close to the white youth who is already awake enough to bring a saw to the rally. Thus he diverts attention from Obama, the false Messiah, as he gets busy sawing through the chains that bind us all.

Utah artist Jon McNaughton has a new painting, Wake Up America, his symbolic representation of what is happening in this country today. In the painting, people reach to the sky for the entitlements that bind us to debt. McNaughton has hidden six keys in the painting that explain the solution. ....

...

Artist Jon McNaughton: Every man, woman and child in America is enslaved to the national debt. As an artist, I have painted my vision of the dire circumstances that surround us. Now, more than ever, each American must make a choice: we must unlock the shackles that enslave us, or will we lose our freedom. It is my hope and prayer that America will “wake up” before it is too late. In the painting I have intentionally hidden six keys that represent solutions that will release us from the chains of economic and political bondage. Find these keys and share them with as many Americans as you can. If we don’t “wake up” future generations may not know what it means to be free.

The rooster means the painting, and Naughton's views, are cock-a-doodle-doo-doo.

McNaughton is no fan of Obama.

This is his representation of all of AMerica enslaved to the national debt. The rooster represents the cock that crowed 3 times on the eve of Christ's crucifixtion.

Nice background players. Kim Jong Il is dead, Putin is Putin (not really that significant to the U.S. right now), the U.S. is not allied with Ahmadinejad in any way . . . Just a whole load of wrong in this one, besides the money raining down from the sky.

He actually attests that he's non-partisan. The only higher pile of horseshit is his melodramatic paintings. Love his treatment of FDR in The Forgotten Man painting.

Who are those people (one of them Middle Eastern of some sort) standing in the background applauding? I understand the national debt is a problem, but it's vastly overblown and much of it is a result of a deep recession that Obama didn't start but inherited. I hate that so many people are so quick to hang the recession around Obama's neck but not give him an ounce of credit regarding the recovery going on right now. Sure we aren't on fire economically and we've still got a long way to go but the important thing is that things ARE turning around, things ARE getting better.
