Oh boy, can't wait to see Act of Valor!
I was compelled out of disgust to check IMDB for details on this upcoming recruit-o-rama, jingo-jack off feature film. Not a pro in sight. The two directors are a couple of ex-stuntmen, and the writer, an ex-grip. But hey, it stars some real life active duty navy seals! *gush*

1. "Act of Valor"? With a name like that, why not call it "Nation's Pride"? /nt

3. Save a seat for me!
Something showered with such 9 star praise as "a Tom Clancy wet dream" with no hint of irony sounds right up my alley!

4. Trailer and info below
When the rescue of a kidnapped CIA operative leads to the discovery of a deadly terrorist plot against the U.S., a team of SEALs is dispatched on a worldwide manhunt. As the valiant men of Bandito Platoon race to stop a coordinated attack that could kill and wound thousands of American civilians, they must balance their commitment to country, team and their families back home.
'Act of Valor' uses active duty U.S. Navy Seals as actors. The characters they play are fictional, but the weapons and tactics used are real. 'Act of Valor' hits theaters February 17, 2012 |

5. Goebbels
Goebbels would be proud as how our propaganda machine is working. Will we invade Iran next?

7. according to that trailer,
it would seem that the CIA is about to conduct a terrorist operation against the United States.
