Our FRiends have found a.....DIFFERENT perspective on the Atlanta gunman story

It's an example of BLOATED UNIONS!

Why would 5 firefighters respond to a medical call?

I actually heard recently it’s because of their unions...

I read a while back there are 2x as many firefighter/paramedics handling half the fires/accidents as 30 yrs ago.

Here in suburban Indianapolis they appear to spend a significant amount of time in the local WalMart loading shopping carts with massive amounts of food.

Where I live, usually 8 first responders show up: The firetruck driver, his navigator, the guy who holds the map, the guy who lifts the coffee cup up for the navigator, the air conditioning switch monitor, the backseat driver, the trauma psychologist, and one paramedic.

Firefighters are also trained EMS. A fire truck ALWAYS runs with an EMS call.

Fire truck and ambulance.

when my husband died, EMS arrived first, but the fire truck was right behind them.

Most arrived in their personal vehicles, then the ambulance and fire truck after.

maybe someday they`ll need some union paramedics to save their sorry asses.
actually 95% of that post is pure bullshit.

a month ago i had a massive heart attack. my wife was first on the scene a kept me alive till the paramedics came and worked on me till i got into the emergency room. after the stents were placed i did`t wake up and went into full cardio arrest. yes i was technically dead but the guys in the copter who worked on me kept my heart beating till i reached the regional trauma center.then a team of people kept me alive till i finally woke up.

my wife has training when a heart attack happens. our son have paramedic training and our grand daughter is going to be a nurse and a paramedic. so fuck that asshole that posted this on that shit stain site.

to bad my family and friends could`t set him/her straight in person

As I posted above, GA is right to work. Firefighters are non-union.

Most fire departments outside of the City of Atlanta are all VOLUNTEER departments. The one in my county is volunteer.
