The Obvious Bigotry of Salon's Alex Pareene

The website is republishing its list of the "Top 30" political hacks, compiled by AP. Let's take a look at the top five, shall we?

1. Richard Cohen
2. Mark Halperin
3. Thomas Friedman
4. David Broder
5. Marty Peretz

Look, I've never been to Norway, all right? But I do know a couple of Norwegian-Canadians, and they're good people. Maybe Alex Pareene had a bad experience as a child with an immigrant from Norway. Fine. But is that any reason to---by an amazing "coincidence"---lead off his list with 5 Norwegian-Americans?

I would imagine that there has to be a pretty big over representation of them given the prominence of those five.
