Must admit, as a recovering Catholic, I am intrigued....

just like The Church to confuse me this way,
Heck, I have been recovering for 60...some years,
Totally unprepared for this guy and my GUILT is now gnawing at my soul...

Pope going about doing GOOD?

....................

Humility displayed by a Religious Leader? (really was NOT ready for that one)

.....................

What am I suppose to think?

..............

and women too, HOLY SEED BATMAN!

3. JBJ is a funny guy

In an interview recently he was asked how long it took to put the band together. He says "about three weeks. And 30 years I still can get rid of the bastards"

11. And throw the money-changers out of the Temple.

Yeah, yeah, sure, sure. Never gonna happen.

The traditionalists see how Frank is behaving, and can't see the irony when they say "Jesus wept".

12. I would recommend that new pope looks for falling bricks and be careful when walking down stairwells

Just in case. Even though he is still a bigot I woul do refer if he doesn't drop dead too fast. He just might evolve if given enough time.

Fat chance but I am trying to be an optimist here. LOL

6. Washing the feet of women is not new outside RCC. Francis says gay people are an attack on God

and that adoption by gay couples is discrimination against children. The whole picture is important.

10. All this praise for anti gay activists in vestments is getting old.

The man is anti choice, anti gay, he built his career on ranting against gay people. It gets old.

15. Let's see how far that humility goes

when it comes to dealing with condoms and AIDS. Foot washing is just a photo op.

16. As a recovering catholic, I have no guilt, only relief for myself, and

sadness and rage for the pain the church continues to inflict. Many people, including family members, find solace in the church. I can't.
