In the 2008 (D) primaries the media droned on and on about working class white voters

How they are the Salt of the Earth, how Hillary is winning them and Obama is losing them, and how heavens to Betsey! Can Obama win in November if he can't make good ole boys in Georgia and Mountain Men in Appalachia like him?

Oh, and did you see where Hillary is winning them and Obama is losing them?

We've got a really cool map to prove it. Chuck Todd will show you.

Anyway, Mitt Romney is not connecting with working class white folks AT ALL. I do expect that the media will drill this point into us over and over and over again.

Don't pee my Wheaties.

and it used to annoy me to no end, hearing those talking head pundits swearing that Obama would never win over white working class voters. All that talk has gone out the window this year, do they automatically asume Mittens will when these folks over because he's white?
