Small Earthquake Rattles Wisconsin/Illinois Border

A small earthquake shook the area right along the Wisconsin/Illinois border Monday night, the United States Geological Survey is reporting.

The small quake -- a 2.4 magnitude -- struck at 9:54. Its epicenter was about 11 miles west of Kenosha, Wis., the USGS reports on its website.

6. Do you live in a seismically active area, where earthquakes are common?

Just wondering. I do not, and if I experienced even a little quake it would scare the hell out of me.

You wouldn't be shaken or stirred, much less rattled.

That earthquake we had in DC was a bunch of fun, though. I was on the 6th floor. Whoo Hoo!!!
