Sequester Will Hit Me Where It Really Hurts

Out of work long-term, and now on Federal Extended UI benefits, i will apparently be seeing a 10% cut in the weekly amount that I receive. And immediately, if I read the reports correctly.

$180 less per month may not seem like a lot to Senators and Reps making $170,000 a year (and who are NOT subject to a 10% pay cut, AFAIK), but it certainly impacts my family dramatically.

sorry to hear it and I hope it doesn't happen

We're on pins and needles ourselves. My husband works for a federal contractor ( I'm unemployed) and we have no idea how it will affect him.

3. Very sorry, but the only good thing is you'll still get 90%. Last year, I thought it'd be 100% cut.

Not much comfort at all, I know. A terrifying situation, not knowing where the next dime will come from. All because the GOP wants to punish Americans. They won't make jobs but won't help make it to the next job. Really destructive.
