A Minneapolis woman says her 2-year-old son was traumatized by a man accused of slapping the boy and calling him a racial slur during an Atlanta-bound flight....

Joe Rickey Hundley, of Hayden, Idaho, has been charged with simple assault. His attorney said he will plead not guilty.

Bennett, 33, told authorities her son was crying as the Delta Air Lines flight prepared for landing. Hundley, 60, was sitting next to her and slapped the boy in his face, causing a scratch under his right eye, she said.

Hundley "told her to shut that (N-word) baby up," FBI special agent Daron Cheney said in a sworn statement. "Ms. Bennett received assistance from several people on the plane."

Surprise, surprise! Hayden, ID is in the notorious Idaho Panhandle, once home to Aryan Nations.

What part of "all men are created equal" don't they understand, well, other than it doesn't include women and slaves were only 3/5ths of a person. It took a lot of concessions to get the Constitutions passed to begin with, but some of it is seriously sick. And yet, even now, we have people who can't grasp the concept of equality for all humans. It isn't that complicated people! If you are human, you are as good as any other human. Period. Male, female, white, black, red, purple, well, maybe not orange, green, whatever (except Boner orange, but that's just one individual).

I would have intervened and probably been arrested for assault after decking the guy. I simply can't understand how anyone could denegrate a child of any race or gender for any reason. That's not what is right in any society. They can call me a hippie, a drug addict, a drunk, a moron, a "librul", a whitie, or anything else they want, but my skin is thick enough to brush that off. A child is simply learning about life and the environment that was created for it without their consent. Children don't ask to be born. They are a result of an erotic encounter (hopefully) and don't have a say in the matter.

Hundley's an asshole. What a great way to condition a kid, eh?
