JOBS: Need a job? Know of job openings or do you have any to offer?

In keeping with my personal mantra lately of ASK OUT LOUD, I'm posting more about Wishadoo! since I know it can be helpful and it's not being used (mainly because I don't have the time/resources to promote it properly). This is not the time to be meek and quiet; hopefully I won't be viewed as spamming.

We need to make use of the tools we have available, create others that are within our power to do, and work together more and more and more.

The Wishlist has many categories, including a JOBS category. One for JOB NEEDED and one for JOB OPENINGS. It's not being used yet, but this is another way this community could come together to help one another in a more organized way.

When I see DUers post about needing a job, I'm going to reply with a link to this OP.

You do need to sign up at Wishadoo! in order to post anything or send messages, but you don't have to join or log in to view things (unless they are intentionally set as private).

If you belong to other networks or communities that would resonate with the whole premise of Wishadoo!, and our general worldview here at DU, please invite them to check out Wishadoo!

and I did share this OP in his/her post.

Hopefully I won't get on anyone's nerves (and they can use discernment if they dislike my posts), but enough's enough.

I've spent years developing this and there's no reason on earth not to use them. Those of us of like mind can come together more efficiently and effectively -- beyond how we already do here at DU -- and Wishadoo! offers one way of doing so via the tools there.

And, as you well know, I have so much more I want to put into action waiting in the wings...
