Given Nugent's illustrious past it's pretty clear he's just another full of shit big-talker. He'd really crap his pants if he had to confront a platoon of marines - him and his "buddies" against them to save "their" country from tyranny.
The secret service has interviewed him during which I'm sure he cowered and told them privately that all the BS he's been spewing is just BS for publicity. I'm sure he groveled, appropriately so, before them like the coward he is and there was no big-talk.
Oh, and there is still the First Amendment. Apparently, despite the fact I think he has, no one with prosecuting authority seems to think he's said anything worthy of being arrested for sedition or treason. So then he can spew whatever drivel he wishes until he actually crosses whatever imaginary line it is he must cross.
