This is an ongoing investigation; we are actively reviewing and investigating all credible leads. A review of Mr. Hasse's current and former cases is underway and investigators are communicating with his personal and professional associates. A Forensics team is actively processing all evidence collected from the crime scene.

Investigators have also been thorough in their collection and review of area surveillance video and continue to evaluate additional locations for video retrieval.

Investigators continue to look for an older model, Taurus-style sedan; silver or possibly brown in color. Suspect information stands at this time as one or two suspects, possibly dressed in black.

But .....despite the tough talk of the Kaufman County DA, I don't think they'll get enough evidence to make an arrest.
