The Humane Society United States has pressured a lot of factory farms across the country to gives the animals more space, so it's getting better but still so sad.

About a month ago an ENORMOUS pot-belly was captured living with a colony of feral cats on the outskirts of the city. No idea where he came from, nobody claimed him. He hung out at Animal Care & Control for a week or so until a rescue took him in.

They post pics of their rescuees all the time. Glad the pot-belly was rescued. How interesting that he lived with the cats!

He and his wife founded Farm Sanctuary, with locations in New York and California. They are saints, imo!
