Heres how I responded, he has yet to respond to my response though

I agree Corporation CEOs should be drug tested, Politicians as well because they are the real people on welfare. You people complain about the National Debt but then you want to waist money on stupid shit like this which has been proven to be complete bullshit and just a huge waist of money. Do some research, every state that has enacted such legislation has found very very few dug users in people who get government assistants.

Hell, I never understood how blanket workplace drug testing got to be the norm either, nor why it appears to be fairly uncontroversial. I've even seen applications for menial jobs that require lie detector tests!

I've walked out of interviews where this came up. Luckily, I'm in a position to do so, but not everyone is.

It cost way more money to do it than they were finding drug users.

The state's net loss? $45,780.

"That's not counting attorneys and court fees and the thousands of hours of staff time it took to implement this policy," Newton said.

The law also didn't impact the number of people who applied for benefits.
