Jennifer looks lovely. She isn't wearing a burka.

(102,119 posts)and repetitive... I think mixing it up a bit would be wise for her.
She is certainly attractive and I have no problem with her costumes, in general, but it simply isn't always necessary to show as much skin as one can get away with. Clearly, her fans have come to expect that, but it seems that is the point... Her fans have come to EXPECT that.

(41,932 posts)I think I like Jennifer Hudson best, but all of them are beautiful, have powerful voices rooted in American tradition, and there's much to enjoy there. I really can't figure the negatives. I don't actually follow any of them but I do think they're great at what they do.

Beyonce was getting down with Destiny!
And, as MADem noted, Beyonce actually shows very, very little skin.

(1,044 posts)let me call my great Aunt Helen and ask what she thinks of the outfits.
Nobody was inappropriate. Hudson wasn't dressed for a half-time show. Beyonce was. I didn't see any boobs or cooch... just some leg. It's 2013- women are allowed to show their thighs now.
I thought both performances were great, and not once did I clutch my pearls.

(135,425 posts)It's tight in all the wrong places, cuts her in the wrong places, and the length is ugly on her. She looks like a school marm who has gained weight and can't afford to buy clothes that fit.
I've seen her in much nicer costumes that are tasteful and fit nicely.
Beyonce didn't show any skin. She wears four pairs of stockings so that "nothing moves." One doesn't really see anything through those four layers, either.
At least that is what she said on one of the talk shows.
The "appearance of skin" and "actual skin" are two different things.

(32,074 posts)I don't know how Jennifer Hudson even walked in that skirt, let alone dance. And, it would have been one dull half-time show had she just stood there singing.
