What a contrast!
from our good friend, Bartcop:
Three thousand people died on 9/11 and Bush and Cheney were questioned in a closed session. Four people died in Benghazi and Hillary Clinton was questioned in public. Does anybody besides me think this is wrong? -- Eckhard I also think it's wrong. And I'd like to see Bush and Cheney held to account for their lies, actions and inactions that led to the deaths of a million Iraqis and 6,663 Americans, and plundered trillions from the U.S. Treasury for their cronies.

One where the bad guys get off easy and the good ones get punished.

12. We live in bizarro backwards world.
Sociopaths with money and power, and the nutters who follow them, abide by no civil laws or rules, not even the Constitution; whereas liberals, protesters, whistleblowers, and leakers are harassed, jailed, or forced out of office.

2. Haven't we all been thinking
the same?
But who complains about an investigation into the death of even one American? It is along the lines of asking a mother, who was forced to carry an unwanted pregnancy, if she loves and wants her child. I don't know of any woman who would say otherwise, even if she may love that child, but in her heart still wishes she hadn't been forced to have it. Pretty messed up. |

We still should actually.

5. Hey, you said 9-11. Off to the CT dungeon.
It wasnt necessary to question Cheney and dipshit because the elite knew full well what happened and Cheney and dipshit did what was expected. Cheney ran the country from his bunker while dipshit "acted" stupid.
The elite also know what happened in Benghazi but want to embarrass Sec Clinton and Pres Obama. ![]() ![]() |

11. And together, too.
Dick couldn't have Dimbulb screwing up the story by testifying separately. Amazijg how fast this investigation got fast tracked.but a public investigation of 9/ 11 took years to materialize..no thanks to the Republican House and Senate who controlled both chambers. No outrage then.

8. AND Colin Powell...
...was on "the hannity" nonsense program tonight. I was nearly yelling at the TV when Powell made it sound like it was the CIA's fault that his information at the UN speech of his was absolute bull shit. "Hey, Cheney, Bush, ....everyone believed what I was saying was the truth". ...more or less. Absolute bull shit. Just when I start to think this ass hole has a soul worth saving, he throws up the old "RepuKKKe denial of responsibility" to avoid looking like he misled the American people and THE WORLD.
Worthless sack of human waste. |

13. Democrats, as a rule, have nothing to hide...
...unlike the Bush cabal who had to hide everything..
And then of course, Nancy and PO in 2009 said nope, not gonna' go there. Let bygones be bygones. We have two sets of rules. One for them, and one for the rest of us. One for Wall Street, and one for the rest of us. I just wish we all lived by the same rules. ![]() |

28. Benghazi is still the number one talking point..
Or close behind the gun control BS on right wing radio. Hannity, Larson, Levin, Huckabee all keep hammering away at it. I check in every day or so with these wingnuts, and even though I can't stand more than about five minutes of any of them, I still hear something about Benghazi.

What a contrast indeed. One investigation was a whitewash, the other investigation a witch hunt. Can you imagine Richard Ben-Veniste telling Condi Rice he would have fired her the way Rand Paul bloviated about Hillary Clinton?
