OxyRush. Up to his old oxytricks?

I was driving midday and hit upon oxyRush while channel surfing. He sounded different than usual, like he was on something really strong. Although I haven't heard him in months and am no oxyRush expert to begin with, so I may be imagining things.

Maybe Obama's inauguration, coupled with the continuing drop in his listeners is becoming too much to bear.

He's still on now, at least in Boston, in case anyone wants to wade into his show and see if I'm nuts? (Well, nuts about this specific subject.)

Send him to the farms and let him eat cow dung to see how worthless his entire life has been. No human is a greater black hole than rush. If he was replaced by a pile of dung, the world would be a better place, a zillion times over.

doing what the doctors prescribed and innocently became hooked on a legally prescribed drug.

He never took responsibility for his part in the addiction or his actions.

In my long drug and long drug-free history, it's generally people like that who are never fully recovered in their hearts and souls. Like dry drunks.

I wouldn't be surprised if his concern about ratings could send him back into the loving embrace of Oxy. We're brilliant at justifying our behavior, his back could start causing him agonizing pain in order to make it okay. He'd convince himself it was legit and warranted. I speak from experience.

But I'm not Rush and he's not me and my armchair diagnosis/projection ultimately means nothing.

It will be interesting to see if your observation is correct.

Unless the safety of others' is concerned; such as school bus drivers, LEOs, etc. I think it is a violation of one's privacy.

In fact, I think if more people smoked (vaporized, ate, etc.) marijuana, we would have a more peaceful society.

I suspect that in the case of on-air screaming heads, drug testing would get a bunch of the crazy rightys off the air.

There's got to be a better way. I think that the recent boycott of Rush's advertisers might have just done the trick.

What gets me is that the religious crazies are all over the radio spouting their lies, too.

Was drinking in his sweet tears the day after the inauguration and I noticed it also. His voice sounded slow, slurred and slightly deeper, as if (showing my age here) a record was on a turntable and someone placed their finger on it almost imperceptibly. I don't wish relapse on anyone, but let's just say I won't lose any sleep if he ends up being recalibrated by his demons.

the very first time. I was shocked at how BAD he is. Not for the content, but delivery. it takes him 15 minutes to make a point, then he repeats it three times. I guess his audience need a lot of slow repetition. I found it unbearable.
