(144 posts)Even though I know security was very high, you can't have your eyes trained to every single place all the time. Its something I thought about when he gave his inaugural address and when he was walking during the parade. I'm not really religious but thank god it went off without a hitch?

All Major roads were closed off..
The areas where public were allowed into the events were sealed off..only accessible via tight security..
Ninja dressed snipers on the rooftops..
Honor Guard
Virtually every US service provided guards..honorary or not
I had no idea, the secret service had so many in their numbers...
The President should feel very safe..I know I did

(24,282 posts)that the reason they won't harm him is they don't want to drive to work every day on Barack Obama Boulevard and they don't want their kid's diplomas to say Barack Obama High School.
It on the 'interwebz' so it must be true.

(38,506 posts)I was really scared the teabaggers were going to do something, like when they all took their rifles and went to a park across the river. It was one or two years ago, but it was a really dumb idea.
