This is attention whoring at its most pathetic, and should inform people's reading of this poster's seemingly less foot-stamping efforts.

All he wants is some long back and forth. Don't give him that. Treat this one as you would treat anybody who comes to your party to take a shit on the floor. Shun.

That is not money from those corps, it is individual donations from people who work there.

In otherwords, when I make a individual donation, I have to list my employer.

And that's how Open Secrets reports it in charts like that.

But it is my money.

We all expect something for this. It affirms our country to have a big parade. Really those occur all the time, how expensive can it be? Big dinners occur all the time. The security is probably the most expensive part, and we can't begrudge any President that. Not even Bushitler.

Obama has banned individual lobbyists from donating to his inaugural celebration, but he’s instituted no such prohibition for the corporations or labor unions that together employ several hundred lobbyists to influence government policy and legislation.

This policy is a marked departure from the practices of Obama’s 2009 inaugural committee, which banned corporate contributions altogether and limited individual donations to $50,000.

A bunch of corporations paid for the people's party?

And Obama isn't running again?

Cool!

Weird, huh? It was right under the story about how all living previous Republican presidents "refused" to attend today. Of course they didn't mention one isn't allowed out in public by the GOP and the other is in bad health. That's just how they are though. I'm used to it by this point in time, having lived in a red state for so long.
