Michael Savage rails against the flu vaccine

Geez, first Limbaugh trashing the children who wrote to Obama and talking about abortions with guns. Now Michael Savage steals the show, as Ed Brayton reports: "...Michael Savage has now joined their ranks, telling people not to take the flu vaccine because “not everything your government tells you is true.” Oh, and autism." It just gets better: “...and you get ALS or Alzheimer’s disease or MS, or you watch your kid develop seizures, or your kid becomes autistic, God forbid, what are you going to say?”

Before his talk radio career, Savage wrote several books on alternative medicine and herbal medicine in the '70s and '80s and early '90s. In 1978, Savage earned his Ph.D. from UC Berkeley in nutritional ethnomedicine, having done field studies in Fiji. Quack all around.

I haven't had the flu since at least the 1968-69 outbreak, and I'm not sure I even had it then since I did not get an official diagnosis from the doctor.
