Oh noes, the NRA is not happy!

I am going to use the word fuck alot here, just to alert any sensitivities. Fuck the NRA, the group who's responsibility is to make sure people go though the hunter's safety course. Who in the fuck do they think they are, the Professional Bowlers Association for fuck's sake? Really, why do they fucking rate higher than almost anyone else, even the victims of Gun violence. Who the fuck thinks that guns aren't excellent human killing machines, or that only guns are innocent in the record breaking rate of death? Must be movies and videos and fatherless families and lack of Jesus, on and on fuck.

Really, to give absolute fucking idiots like LaPierre and Alex Jones a microphone is fucking insulting. I wish all would ignore their crybabyness that by introducing some mild changes like clip size and background checks is a direct line to fucking FEMA camps and confiscation and castration. These fuckers will say anything, and everything they say is nothing.

I have said things about the root causes of violence that I'm going to stop saying now, because the FACT is that whatever else may or may not be wrong with us . . GUNS, AND ONLY GUNS, TURN THOSE PROBLEMS INTO MURDER.

Until the gun fanatics stop trying to rationalize that fact away, there can be no co-operation with them. We will either have to go around them, or thru them--or over them (with both wheels).

The cowards don't understand this, but they have been well-trained by the NRA.

NRA represents gun manufacturers not the gun buyers.

They don't give aflying fuck aboutor believe in the 2nd amendment, but it is their talking point. (along with" They're coming to take your guns!!!! Send us more money!!!)

paranoia and fear to my experiences of 60s racial controversy, George Wallace and the KKK. They were truly and certifiably nuts. But most of their membership are well-meaning and merely raised in a culture that has changed significantly. The comparison and exposure will lead to its demise.

These organizations, like the Black Panthers of the 60s to be fair, only survived in darkness and fear and when exposed, many well-meaning folk fled from its midst. If we can connect the messages of fear, anarchy and social blight, the result will be the same...appropriate expungement from our political landscape.

In the fall of 2009, Chuck Wexler, the executive director of the Police Executive Research Forum, convened a gun conference that brought police chiefs and law enforcement officials to Washington from around the country. Wexler also reached out to the NRA. The NRA representative remained largely silent, and at the end of the day Wexler sensed that the NRA had showed up merely to say no.

“They were not willing to accept what police chiefs who deal with shooting and firearms every day were saying,” Wexler says. “It was like, we don’t really care what you’re saying because this is what we think. The NRA has a preconceived idea about what should be done. And that is nothing.”

It is, but this is what passes as "neutral" journalism in America nowadays. Hear both sides of the story, and treat BOTH as valid.

Mon Jan 14, 2013, 11:01 AM
Jan 2013

Can you promote this first step in protecting our first responders?

How to reduce the desire to own high capacity weapons!

Treat the bullets in loaded weapon the same as alcohol. People have a limit as to their alcohol content. Limit the number of bullets in any weapon to 7 unless Homeland Security has given an exception. This can cover any use or possession of a weapon, excluding target practice on private property or hunting an animal that can cause sever bodily harm.

Who, even in their home needs more than seven bullets to stop an intruder.

Any weapon loaded with "cop killer bullets" would have an additional permit after showing to Homeland Security proof of need.

They really disgust me. I used to be a member in the 70s and 80s, but they lost me when they fought against background checks and one-gun-per-month proposals. How could anyone in their right minds be against making sure that lunatics and felons can't buy guns?

After I let my membership lapse, they hounded me so mercilessly that I had to get an unlisted number. They still send me ungodly amounts of propaganda my mail.
