My first brush with Elizabeth Warren was in 2004

When I saw her highly articulate and compelling interview on the Front Line program "Secret History of the Credit Card". The program also showed why guys like Biden and Daschle rose to such power in the senate.

2004 was about the time credit card companies were getting busted for arbitrarily raising interest rates on revolving debt even when a credit card holder had great credit history and made all of their payments.

I was shocked to see someone elucidating the problem so clearly and standing up to big banks.

I've been a fan of hers ever since, and I am so glad she holds Ted Kennedy's seat. Soon, she will be the SENIOR senator from Mass.

Funny how horrible 2004 felt for Dems, but out of that period came the new crop such as Obama and Warren.
