I have a good story

When I was canvassing a neighborhood while running for Mayor this past month, I had a citizen tell me that she wished more young people like me would get involved in politics and in their community. I agreed. I told her Barack Obama inspired me to run for office and serve my community.

I'm running for State Assembly now because I lost the mayoral race but I wish we could get more young people involved across the country.

I do hope more young people get involved. And not just at the top of the ticket but all the way down the ballot to assemblyman and dog catcher!

I will never, never, never forget the little people. I call them the voiceless. The ones that are not getting heard.

I posted a thread about this but here is a link to my campaign website: http://www.asherforwisconsin.com.

Feel free to check it out. Sign up to support my campaign if you believe in my message.

Thanks for all of your support and love. UNITED AS ONE!

I find it odd that everytime I post, my threads are shot down.

Is it hard to believe that a young person like myself is running for office? Yes, I'm 18!!

It's in the media. I have to, by law, file reports to account for donations.

Google my name!! Doing something positive but yet I should get banned from here? Disappointing to say the least.

Or is that you in the yellow hoodie? If so, can't see your face! I saw you on the "Meet Asher" page, though. Handsome young man. Good serious look there.
