A boyfriend stabbed the mother of his three children to death in the back of a taxi after social services informed him she had aborted their unborn child.

Crazed Junior Oakes, 28, knifed 22-year-old Natasha Trevis 26 times in the head, chest, arms and stomach.

A social worker had accidentally told Oakes just five days before the murder that his girlfriend had aborted their baby.

He carried out the “savage” attack as the pair shared a taxi home together after a night out to celebrate his birthday last August.

Terrified 5ft 1ins Natasha managed to scramble out of the taxi but Oakes chased her and continued to stab her to death.

I can't imagine why she was afraid to have his child and be linked to him forever through that child, and have to either stay with him forever or leave the child alone with him for supervision. (sarcasm, in case it must be made clear.)

My mother died under circumstances that had a similar dynamic. Though it was the abortion that killed her, it was her fear of my father that drove her to make that dangerous (at the time) decision.

She did not abort a "baby." She aborted a pregnancy, and if one insists on discussing what was killed, it was either a zygote, embryo or fetus, depending how far along the pregnancy was. Babies don't live inside other people; they need air. If it had been a 'baby,' she would have delivered a possibly pre-term infant instead of aborting a pregnancy altogether.
