Person of the Year. You don't have to be perfect to be great.

Yes, he will infuriate us and test our patience. He will also inspire us.
I believe that Obama is a man of high principle and politician of the possible.
When all is said and done, his campaigns will be studied and emulated, his achievements in health care, budget and tax reform, attention to nation-building at home and his steadfast attention to the foundations of a good society like family, education, infrastructure and so on will be admired.
I do believe that we will be able to add gun control and action on global warming to the list.
Not bad for a man who has been dealing with a virulently distrustful right wing, racial prejudice and a stubborn Congress.
Obama has adhered to standards of civility and respect in political discourse we have not seen in recent times.
Oh, by the way. He is also one of the great speakers in our nation's history, both by content and delivery.
Already in the Pantheon of American Presidents, I do believe that his best work is yet to come.
