US Postal Service sets up box for condolence messages to Newtown, Conn. community

The US Postal Service has set up a mail box specifically for people who wish to send condolences to people affected by the Newtown, Conn. shooting last week.

“We understand that there is an outpouring of support for everyone in the Newtown area and we hope to make it easier for those who wish to send encouragement and messages of compassion to those affected,” said Kimberly J. Peters, Connecticut Valley District Manager for the US Postal Service.

Anyone wishing to send messages to those affected by the tragic events are asked to address them to:
