Federal funds help the millions of impoverished workers and the underfunded medical system survive.
Megacorps can use the good Texas highways paid for by the Feds.
Texas can give property tax breaks to megacorps.

(15,461 posts)The median income of California per household is $85,000 while in Texas it is $ 67,000. Given that California has 8 million more residents than Texas, it shouldn't be a surprise that their residents would pay more in income taxes to the Treasury Dept than Texas does.
No different than Beverly Hills, California paying a lot more in state taxes than Compton does. Should taxes be cut in Beverly Hills and raised in Compton to make it more equitable?
