Clyburn and Carville?

Why is it that these two are the only ones stepping up for the Democrats? That is, other than Bernie and AOC.

And Clyburn and Carville are nowhere near as prominent as Bernie and AOC? All they do is blurt out to MSM. So, where are all the good guys? Where is all the support? Where's the rallys(other than the Oligarchy tour)? How are we going to fix the Democratic party. How are we going to win in 2026? 2028? One would think by looking at the past, that change would have started on Jan 22 this year. I see very little.

It just seems to me, that a lot of people are giving up. Where is the leadership? That's the route most will follow, including me. We need leadership NOW!!!!

purple and red districts because the R's have been told not to do them. There are plenty of Dems speaking up.

A bunch of them. It’s just not getting media coverage. They are doing town halls in Dem and Rep districts.

6. Also "we don't have the votes..." In which case, I find myself asking (as so many have) "what would Mitch McConnell do?"

This was the kind of the thing, Pam Keith, I think it was, was talking about on the Dean Obeidallah Show (April 16).

She was pretty well livid about our elected officials essentially making excuses and telling the rest of us we need to be out in the streets (I went to my community's Hands Off today, btw).
She also pointed out how the Rs were in lockstep and absolutely unified -- something I thought about during the faux SOTU; how they all clapped together like trained seals.

Yes, I do recall Clyburn saying he was doing town halls, etc., but I really didn't like the emphasis being placed on "we don't have the votes" and "but the media..."

But we need more. We need a movement, with verifiable action. I guess I'm disappointed because I expected more. The red flags are everywhere. This country is going downhill big time, and we need more. Not just to stop Trump, but to start a coalition to WIN.

7. What about Cory Booker?

Or does he not count. But in reality a lot of democrats are stepping up and speaking out at the local level. They are just not getting any attention from the corporate media.

Especially since he did his 26 hour stance. That was amazing. Not many could do what he did. That was weeks ago, and I haven't heard anything from him since then. I don't know what we're waiting for. Now is the time to act.
