Any "War on Guns" will be delayed until 2015 at the earliest.

Because of the Republicans. They control the House, and have nothing left to lose
by saying no.

Most of them are in safe seats, so they won't buck the Teabagger line-they saw what happened
to Richard Lugar. They'll want their pound of flesh for any compromise at all.

1. I would have said the same prior to Friday,

2. Don't underestimate how hardcore the Republican base is nowadays.

Frankly, I think the GOP will split- but only after 2014

Three times if we're lucky. Teabag, moderate (small), and Blue Dog Republicans. You can't stop a wave unless you have a VERY big dyke, and these guys fingers just aren't that big anymore.
