Collectively, Obama and Romney spent 2 BILLION dollars on the 2012 campaign.
We need to fix it all. And I haven't a clue where we start..

A time when it would endorse and support gun-friendly democrats. Now, they just give lip service to high-NRA-rated democrats, and all the money to republican candidates.

They jumped the shark. They've become politicized. In the last election, they backed a governor that actually signed an assault weapons ban, not just SIGNED it, but ASKED for it and brokered it through the state legislature. Over Obama, who signed two bills that expanded gun rights.

All the while demonizing and slurring the sitting president.

Once upon a time I was a member of the NRA to gain access to a local gun range that required membership in the NRA as part of the entry fee. No more. Fuck it. I just won't go to the range. I haven't given the NRA a dime in a long, long time, and I never will again.

I was sending the postage-paid envelopes back to them, with the mailer shit stuffed inside. I think they got the point.

Next to the article was a promo for a website you can access to discover which pistols make the best concealed weapons. This kind of exploitative cynicism makes me wish the smiley pucker icon was back, because it's just too callous to attribute it to simple ignorance or stupidity.

The Koch brothers?
The gun industry?
The munitions industry?
All of them and then some?

I say get to the source of their power through money and make them back down.
