riding to the rescue. I had some hope about their abilities a few years back, but in the end it seemed that whoever/whatever they are, they had very little ability to affect anything.
I was hoping some capable patriots working in the government would do some computer wizardry & prevent DOGE from gaining access to the gov systems in the first place. When that didn't happen, I still had a bit of hope that even after-the-fact they could do something to sieze back system control & put the DOGE out.
I still occasionally imagine that they are even now working furiously at it and will pull it off at the last minute, as in the denouement of some underdog hero white-hat hacker movie. But I've never been much of an optimist.
I've always been angry at MAGAts, but now I despise them with the heat of a thousand suns.

defend their homeland and protect their people from cultural (and even physical) genocide would be willing to strike at their enemies beyond national boundaries and strike at foreign organizations aiding and abetting their mortal enemies.

I don’t think that Elon realizes just how lucky he is that he’s not a Russian. Being a Russian oppressor can be a hazardous occupation these days—inside or outside of Ukraine.
