(7,279 posts)about party lines, not one of the more well known movies, it was more on the B movie level and was comedy oriented. It may not have had Party Line etc. in the title but the gist of the movie was that people kept getting things mixed up. I've searched for it now but all the references are to other films. As I recall nobody in the film was recognizable by name. The movie was actually very accurate to how the old phone system worked and how people would "listen in" etc.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
