Leon's big rocket just went boom boom

Successful launch and the booster was caught by the chopsticks, but the starship itself lost engines and is presumed destroyed.

On edit:

Launch at 35:30
Chopstick grab at 42:10
Starship starts gyrating wildly at 43:40

But until he can prove it won't rapidly deconstruct after the first booster separation, they won't give him the big bucks.
SpaceX has two entities, one is Government Contracts, the other is Commercial.
And Elon Musk is not supposed to have any input into the Government Contract side other than signing off on the contract.

Didn't know there was a launch at all.

I saw a little dot that I first thought was a plane, and then it turned into a swirling cloud that was shooting off sparks, and then it turned into a comet like contrail.

We didn't know what to make of it--thought it might have been a meteorite at first.

Does the company's insurance pick up the tab for cleaning up the debris that goes into the ocean and everywhere else? Or is it just left to poison the ecosystem?
