With some power and authority. But Maga has their eyes on him and he is being threatened. Even here in WI they are using him in commercials against a liberal judge running for the state Supreme Court where the right is trying to win back control they run those negative commercials with all the black coloring and creepy music trying to make him look sinister. Those commercials work and I'm scared to death that they'll get the court back and redo the redistricting again. Dems are so bad with judge elections when they are run at off times.

His current term expires in early 2027. It isn't like I think a Republican would win if JB doesn't run; we have some fine up and coming Democrats in our state. But I can't see JB as a Senator; this man was born to be running things, not debating and playing legislative games. I mention that because I am pretty sure the senior Senator from Illinois, Dick Durbin, is likely on his last term and we're going to need someone special to take his place. JB Pritzker is too good to leave the political stage. Again, I hope he stays on as Governor.
