More accurately, I had a pool car every day, but it wasn't always the same one. This was right after W and Cheney lied us into the Gulf war. So I made anti-war bomber stickers affixed to magnetic sheets. I could remove the sticker whenever I turned in the pool car.

This won't work if you have model S or X because they use aluminum panels, but it will work on the rest of them.

Lemkin Institute Issues 'Red Flag Alert for Genocide' After Musk's Nazi Salutes

"Trans people, refugees, and migrants are not the threats," the group said. "The billionaires with close ties to our new president who flash the Nazi salute and seek to replace the old elites with a new caste—that is the real threat to America."

by Jake Johnson
Common Dreams, January 21, 2025

A group named after the Polish-born lawyer of Jewish descent who coined the term genocide issued a "red flag alert" for the United States on Monday after billionaire Elon Musk—a top ally of President Donald Trump—twice flashed what was widely seen as a Nazi salute during a post-inauguration event.

The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Studies and Prevention said that "Musk's act is a frightening signal of things to come" and rejected the notion that the billionaire's gestures were unintentional.

"In light of Musk's important influence on the new administration," the group said in a statement, "the Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention is issuing a Red Flag Alert for genocide in the United States."

The Lemkin Institute urged Americans to "respond with critical thinking" to any suggestion that Musk's salutes were merely awkward or odd-looking—but ultimately benign—expressions of enthusiasm.

"Is it possible that any person—especially in South Africa (where support for Nazism was very strong) or the USA (where the History Channel has introduced almost all but the youngest generations to the Nazi salute)—is unaware of this salute or what it means?" the group asked. "It is almost impossible that this was an unfortunate mistake. Finally, can we really believe that someone who is so often in the public eye would risk an arm gesture—twice—that looks almost exactly like the Nazi salute while he is supposedly celebrating Donald Trump's election to president? We strongly believe that Elon Musk's gesture was intentional. We will be happy to be proven wrong."

"Musk's Hitler salute cannot and must not be swept under the rug. The U.S. press, cowed as it has been under President Biden, cannot be trusted to cover the new president's administration with any backbone or honesty. It is up to the American people to defend the Constitution and this country's core values against all threats," the organization continued. "Trans people, refugees, and migrants are not the threats. The billionaires with close ties to our new president who flash the Nazi salute and seek to replace the old elites with a new caste—that is the real threat to America."

92. The Space NAZI
Mon Jan 27, 2025, 09:27 AM
Jan 27

Following NASA as a young kid, I got to know Werner von Braun as the "Father of the Saturn V moon rocket." So, von Braun was a boyhood hero of mine. When I found out what he did in the war later, as an adult, von Braun, Oberth and all the NAZI scientists -- and a large number of spies recruited and welcomed by CIA -- who came to the USA after World War II became evil NAZI turds to me.

Imagine how different the world would be if all the resources devoted to killing one another were turned to making life better for all on earth? That was why JFK wanted the space program to be led, like the US military, by civilians. JFK "set aside" von Braun's NAZI past in order to beat the Russians to the moon. As the President lost his big brother Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., in World War 2 fighting the NAZIs, JFK would've tossed Musk -- a neo-NAZI if ever there was one -- out on his ear.

"One in four automotive consumers today say, “They won’t ever buy a Tesla because of Elon Musk.” They come in a flash and then slowly fade away. In 1909, Ransom E. Olds had it going on. He had sold 10,000 of his curved dash Oldsmobiles and was the number one car company in America. He then sold out to Billy Durant and later made a fortune building R.E.O. speed wagons. (trucks) They come, and they go, LaSalle, Hudson, Nash, Packard, Tucker, DeLorean and Desoto. Tell em Groucho sent you! Or Ask the man who owns one!

Elon’s most likely headed for two in five consumers before long, then headed out the door. The board would like to take this opportunity to suggest you take a long, long, very private vacation. Where you say nothing to anyone about anything for a very long, long time. Or the board will be forced to take immediate legal action against you. YOUR mouth is costing US money! YOUR mouth is damaging OUR interests! We spend millions of dollars each year trying to entice customers and your antics alienate them from us. It’s like a Ronald McDonald standing in front of the restaurant flipping people off in the drive thru.

Chances are, if consumers feel that way today. They will feel that way in the next five or ten years. Chances are, even if dear Elon were pushing up daises today, they would never ever buy a Tesla. Chances are, they will raise their children to not buy Teslas. Invite everyone to your pool party and then piss in the pool. Elon think’s he is inviolate because of his wealth. Billy Durant founded General Motors made what it was. Got pushed out and impoverished by bankers and ended up running a bowling alley. “They can’t do that to me!”

Tesla Motors got a head start in the electric car market and did well. The name became synonymous with electric vehicles. Now, all the manufactures offer electric vehicles. Tesla is no longer unique or special in the market anymore. That curved dash Olds was a nice car in 1909. The Model T left the Olds in the dust by 1914 with the best feature ever developed. The Ford was cheap and getting cheaper."

What is it with some automakers?

In summer 1938, with the German Wehrmacht having marched into Austria, and despite years of deflecting charges he was an anti-Semite, Ford accepted a 75th birthday present from Hitler. It was the Grand Cross of the Supreme Order of the German Eagle, the highest award the regime bestowed on foreigners.

The golden Maltese cross, surrounded by four small swastikas, was presented to Ford in Ford Motor’s Dearborn offices by Fritz Haller, the German vice consul in Detroit.

However, we have the same right to our publicly expressed opinion, and you can't cancel us, either. Swasticar, swasticar, swasticar! it will be called forevermore. I already laugh and point every time I see one.

And being neurodivergent does not give you a free ticket to be a fucking asshole. We're going to express our opinion publicly on that as well. To your face, if I ever get a chance; you and the Terracotta Toddler. What a pair of losers.
