Of his friends were cops together. I was very young when he was, and he saw a lots of shit. Made him very protective of me and my sisters. They have hearts and children too. What if one of the officers had a child that was murdered during the rampage? Found their own child dead? I pray for all of them.

Too damn sad of a call that anyone should answer. Two cops (per CBS news) were inside the school in about two mins and saw the shooter at the end of a long hallway. They were approaching but he did a last round of shots and then he killed himself. Who knows how many they saved that day but I'm sure they will never believe they did enough.

Until people start understanding this concept, stereotypes and misconceptions will continue to the detriment of us all.

33. The asshat rap is their own fault whether deserved by all cops or not.

The 95% of police officers that do the job to protect and serve need to do something to stop the asshat 5% from beating the shit out of brown people, tasering grandmas and little kids to death, disabling people involved in lawful protests etc etc etc.

Everyone I know hopes to hell they show up and do the right thing when needed but doesn't trust the cops to do so either.
