I would love to be excited by this latest news,

but we won't know until the polls are closed and all of the ballots are counted. IOW, let's not get cocky. There is still work to do.

I’m getting a little irrational in my head tonight reading the possible good news. It may be quite awhile before we know who the next Prez is. Thankfully we have a D in the White House to referee.

Iowa wasn’t in play. Neither campaign spent any money there. This is gobsmacking!

But it sure will be joyful work if we win! Not to mention - BIGTIME celebrating America's First Woman President!!! That's something I've been hoping for - for YEARS.

We're seeing evidence of the evaporation of trump support in the closing days -- evaporation that was the most likely way things would go -- as people who planned to vote for him procrastinated, and then ultimately found (or are finding) they just can't stomach it.

This doesn't mean we've won. Overconfidence is a GOTV killer. Particularly when we see the barriers and hurdles that will be erected: long lines, faulty equipment in democratic leaning demographics. Someone standing in a two hour line who thinks "she's winning anyway," is more likely to give up.

Harris needs the vote of every person leaning her way; every single one.

As Simon Rosenberg says, we are winning, but we haven't won yet. Anything can happen. We've gotta hold steady and turn out every vote possible if we're to win in this final stretch.

what tfg was saying. I hope they were watching him, his growing feebleness, disinhibition, lack of focus. I hope they noticed who wasn't supporting him anymore, snd even his wife appears to be MIA.

I make an exception for the Selzer IA poll.

I’ve been called a “wet blanket” and worse on DU for my poll skepticism, but the Selzer poll data is a BFD.
